Challenge or problem:
The level of carbon dioxide indoors – in homes, schools, hospitals, gyms, sports halls, etc. – and how it may affect human health is a complex and increasingly debated topic. According to experts, the carbon dioxide level indoors should not exceed 1000 ppm over time. Creating an optimal relation between temperature, humidity and CO2 levels is a common challenge in both private homes, commercial properties and public spaces.
Solution:
In order to measure and control the quality of the indoor air, Wideco has developed a user-friendly IoT solution with fast online reading. The solution combines LoRaWAN IoT CO2 sensors with the innovative real-time visualization and data stream platform WISION©, and gives you a continuous overview of measured values, statistics and analysis – directly in a smartphone or computer. In this way, you get a clear picture of the air quality instantly and over time and an early indication whether any improvement measures may need to be implemented.
Result:
Full control of the CO2 levels in homes, day care centers, sports centers, hospitals or the workplace, for example. Continuous readings of the current CO2 levels in rooms and buildings can be used in combination with the building's ventilation system to create optimal air quality for students, patients, athletes, staff, etc.
