Parking sensor system that evaluates occupancy level at the parking site facilities and rents out automaticaly overflow of parking spots that are not occupied during different periods of the day.
Challenge or problem: Building new parking spots is costly (between 400-600k kr per spot) at the same time as parking spots are not fully utilized during all hours of the day.
Solution: ApParkingSpot sensor solution monitors the occupancy levels at the parking site and through AI rents out a number of parking spots that are predictably not gooing to be occupied. For example, if the site has 100 parking spots and 70 of them are not occupied from 9-16h during the day ApParkingSpot will smartly rent out 20 of them during that time period. System will leave a buffer of the spots for the residents that might have a change in behaviour (staying home that day, comming home early etc). Overflow of the spots will be rented out without the impact on the residents who already are payiing monthly parking spot.
Result: Higher utilization of the parking spots and more revenue at the parking site while makeing arrival to the area more accesible.
